Welcome to the July Show Off Thread 2025! Post all of your wonderful images here for all of us to see and enjoy. Comments are welcome.

Please keep your images Kid Friendly (PG). Also be sure to stay within the site Memory and pixel sizes.

The Challenge Theme for this thread is "The Right to Use Free Stuff."

I'm sure all of us here have a ton of free stuff; but if someone doesn't it is easy enough to get some. Just do a search online to find many sites where you can grab lots of free stuff you can use in your art. You can also go to my gallery at DeviantArt to grab any of my free backdrops and other images. Just follow the link you can find under any of my posts here at PFDLives. DAZ 3D also offers a lot of free product packs for free every 2 weeks.

Your images can be anything you can imagine, but please don't forget to keep it PG.

Now for my first challenge based image:

Autumn Woods Fae Flirts

I hadn't been out for a walk in a few days, so I stepped over to the door to go out. I looked at my staff, and could see it was begging me to take it with me. It was just standing there next to the door, as if to say "You put me here for a reason! Besides, you need me!" Well it wasn't being untruthful there!

I traveled along a path my old feet knew well. Autumn was in fully now in late mid October. The trees had laid a carpet of freshly released leaves on my path. These trees knew me well, and understood that I needed a path that was cushioned.

As I moved around the bend in the path, I spotted a rather beautiful Fae Girl. She was looking my way and waving.

I turned to see if someone else was on the path behind me, but no one was there. I figure that she must be waving at me. So I quickened my step, though my staff protested!

Getting closer to her allowed me to better see how pretty she actually was. She had a willowy but well formed frame. She was dressed in an outfit made from plants found here in these woods. Her hair was shoulder length, and a gorgeous Strawberry Blonde. Her most striking feature was her awesome green eyes, which captivated me, and made me fall into them.

"It took you long enough to come to me!" she exclaimed.

I replied, implicating my Staff, "My Staff doesn't like being in a hurry!"

She had a flirty smile on her face "I see you have a bit of humorous wit!" She captured my gaze by looking into my eyes, with those beautiful green eyes. "I have seen you walk this path many times! Now I'm here to join you in your walk!"

"I am a truly fortunate old man, that has a girl of such exceeding beauty, offering me companionship while I walk!" I was truly surprised.

We walked together and she asked questions about the knowledge I have.

Every day I walked from then on , she would join me, and it made the walk even more enjoyable, as I now had someone who wished to learn from me. She now calls me "Master."

Almost all of what is in this image has been acquired for free, mostly through the Weekly Freebies at DAZ3D!
The girl is Giselle 6 for Genesis 2 Female(s). I cannot recall the name of the hair I used, nor the name of the outfit, but I got both of them at DAZ3D for free. I acquired the Autumn Forest Backdrop from a collection of images online. One of the Ivy pieces she is wearing was made using Ivy Generator, a free to download utility app. Lighting, shadows, and camera were all created and edited in DAZ Studio. Rendered in DAZ Studio 3Delight.

I just thought of something I could post... Not FREE.. but made by me... and Meshy!  I will probably make them a freebie for Halloween or Christmas.

"2 Stuffies" (Made for my JUNE render a month challenge at Daz)

Agent0013

Looks great Llola! I love the toy vibe, reminds me of my early childhood. I had a really big stuffed animal, an elephant that was twice the size of me! It was my constant companion. I liked hiding my face behind one of its ears! LOL

City Star Visits a Proto-Nebula

OK; you are probably wondering what a Proto-Nebula is. It is a large cloud of gasses and dust in space that new stars are formed in. The great Nebula in Orion is perhaps the most famous of these Proto-Nebulae. This Proto-Nebula is similar to the more famous one, and it is designated as NGC 602. Most of the nebulae in any spiral galaxy are Proto-Nebulae.

There is another type of Nebulae that forms due to exploding stars called Novae and Supernovae. M1, AKA The Crab Nebula is of this type. It formed from the Supernova that was seen in 1051 AD. There are many more of these Supernova Remnants throughout the Milkyway Galaxy, and one extremely large one Known as the Tarantula Nebula in the Greater Magellanic Cloud; which is a sattelite galaxy of the Milkyway Galaxy.

When the Milkyway Galaxy's many benevolent civilizations Joined together as the InterStellar Alliance, Peace was pretty much established in most regions of the Milkyway galaxy. It was the humans of Earth who put forth the idea of forming an alliance, as their history had such alliances on Earth, and even in the star system of Sol (Earth's Sun). This peace was established to make space travel less dangerous due to war and conflict between opposing civilizations, plus to help build a mutually beneficial society for all member civilizations.

One of the great benefits of having such an alliance is that tourism can flourish throughout the largest parts of the Milkyway Galaxy. Scientists can now travel to any part within the borders of the alliance to conduct studies of those regions. Of course one of the most popular areas to study is the Proto-Nebulae.

Now it has become even easier to travel to those regions, with the advent of a ship type called the City Star. City stars provide residence for many thousands of Alliance citizens. In among those citizens will be several astrophysicists, astronomers, xenobiologists, geologists, and more! They travel throughout the galaxy in their City Star, visiting all of the most interesting parts of it.

Here, City Star 1, Messier City visits the NGC 602 Proto-Nebula, and studies have already begun. Of particular interest is a large cluster of protostars that have in the last couple of thousand years cleared away the Bok Globule they formed in!Several blue giant star dominate the cluster, keeping the the smaller stars together. These blue giants are a bit unruly though, and eventually will compete to eject each other from the cluster. There will be ejections of many of the smaller stars as well. Along with those ejected stars will be captured worlds, from the size of a grain of dust, to the size of a gas giant planet. Much of this activity is already underway, and it is this that the scientists are here to study.

Away missions can be sent out, using available space vehicles of different sizes. Some are single occupancy craft, to carry a mission specialist and kit to a point of interest to do localized analyses, and collect samples. Others are available to transport teams, along with their gear, and the largest ones are actually mobilized laboratories. Certain human scientists use the popular Pocket Star Spacecraft. A single occupancy craft with limited FTL capability. The Pocket Star has proven to be among the most reliable spacecraft. You can see one in the foreground of this image to the left, and another exiting the city in the distance.

The Free Stuff: Pocket Star by Kibarreto, which I acquired for free about three years ago; Available At DAZ 3D.

City Star 1: Messier City was modeled using a Symmetrical Lattice primitive in Bryce 7.1 Pro, shaped by a JSPLacement height map image which was polarized in PD Howler 12. Other primitives used are cylinder x 6 to make the exit tubes, and Sphere x 1, as the atmosphere bubble. The Pocket Stars do have pilots inside them, made using Genesis 1. Both are females, and both are wearing the Supersuit morphed to be an advanced spacesuit. All characters and clothing were acquired at DAZ 3D for free!

Plastech Girl-9 on SkyJet and Companion

Plastech Girl-9 is an Artificial Human Construct (AHC). She looks almost completely human, but her eyes are larger than human eyes. This is because there has to be a way to determine whether or not she is a real human or an AHC. She is the commander of a team that includes herself, a human male and a human female, and a distinctly nonhumanoid companion. The companion in this case is a Robotic War Eagle. This one is specialized and programmed to be loyal only to its teammates, mostly to protect the 2 real humans. PlastechGirl-9 is programmed with the "3 Laws of Robotics" which were first written by Isaac Asimov in his Robot series of Science Fiction.

When humanity noticed that Robotics had advanced to a high level of Artificial Intelligence (AI), a large majority began voicing their fears concerning the AI part of their existence. "What's to stop robots from taking control, and possibly eliminating the Human Race?" they wanted to know!

Soon riots began occurring in which robots, androids and Artificial Human Constructs became the targets of their attacks! Millions of them were destroyed in those attacks, but some of the AHCs decided to protect themselves, and a few of those used lethal force to do so! And so a war was fought between Man and Machine, with the AHCs now dubbed Berserker Leaders, doing all they could to gain control. They formed their own nation, and defended it with high powered particle beam weaponry that the humans did not have! The reason was because the AHCs developed existing technology that gave them advanced versions of those weapon types that could be carried like the handheld projectile weapons that had long been the standard of humans' weaponry. Even the bullets the humans fired could be vaporized before ever reaching their targets.

The country of the AHCs was in Antarctica, a place that was mostly considered uninhabitable for humans. For them the area was ideally located, and they had built a fortress that spanned a large section of that continent.

Humans that had been advocates for the Machine Race, many of them being Robotics Engineers, turned the tide for the humans. They built special AHCs that were programmed with the Three Laws of Robotics, for the specified purpose of infiltrating the AHCs in the Machine Nation of Antarctica (MNA). Thousands were built, and this against the wishes of Humans who had no trust that the plan would work!

The Plan:
Each of the new AHCs, not only were programmed with Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics; they each also carried a timed device they themselves did not know about, built into their bodies. These devices were all timed to activate at the exact same time, right down to the single nanosecond. By the time of the activation, these specialized AHCs were in proximity with all of the AHCs of the MNA. So when the time came for the activation no AHC was in a position of invulnerability form the effect that occurred all at once! Electro-Magnetic Pulses flooded every part of the MNA, deactivating every electronic device there immediately. There had been shields given to all Humans to keep all of their electronics unaffected. Thus they were able to enter the area of the MNA and dispose of every deactivated AHC. Any technology the AHCs had developed was confiscated and reverse engineered for the use of Humans.

With that era out of the way, the humans built all subsequent AHCs with Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics programmed into them; and a specialized team of AHCs called Plastech Girls was programmed with special instructions to protect all of humankind. This had to be amended, later upon the rise of Space Pirates, some of whom were humans, and were very wicked people! The amendment of the programming was thus:
Any human working to bring death and destruction to humanity, was to be considered dangerous to humanity, and must be captured and incarcerated if possible; but if it was impossible to do so, their elimination would be the last resort, to end their danger to humanity. The Plastech Girls would work to the extreme to capture and incarcerate them; constantly assessing the viability of the mission to determine how possible the mission would be. Only if it was deemed completely impossible would they resort to extreme measures. It was something that would need to be determined by both the Plastech Girl in charge of the team, and the two humans on her team. The companion would not get a vote, because it was there mainly to protect the two humans from all harm. Once the vote was unanimous between the Plastech Girl and the two Humans, that the situation was impossible to achieve through capture and incarceration, their tactics would be switched to Any Means Necessary to stop the terroristic human.

Later, this policy was amended once again, to include extraterrestrial allies and enemies in the guidelines of the policy.

Here we see Plastech Girl-9, along with her team's robotic eagle, working together to eliminate a threat to their human teammates! Rather than allow the threat to make it to the humans, they meeting the threat to stop it before it can make it to their human teammates. They will perform a preemptive strike to disable the threat, long before it comes into range of its targets!

All items and products used in  this image are freebies acquired from DAZ3D, with the exception of the Backdrop, which I made in Bryce 7.1 Pro, and edited in PD Howler 12. Lights and Camera were created and edited in DAZ Studio 4.10 by me. All poses were also created and edited by me.
Plastech Girl-9 is a character made from Genesis Basic Female morphed using the GenX package to give it the Aiko 3 body shape and the Aiko 5 head, which was further morphed to give her a more unique appearance. Her outfit is the MechGirl outfit for G2F fitted to Genesis. Her hair is Mitsu Hair for G2F fitted to Genesis. The outfit was edited to be predominantly yellow.
The vehicle is BotMoto in its flight mode, with a golden metal flake shader applied to its main body surface.
The companion is the War Eagle Robot, with several Shaders used to give it an interesting texture pattern.
