Welcome to the October Show Off Thread for 2023. Post all of your wonderful images here. Please remember to keep it PG, because kids can and do view these threads. Also make sure that your images are meeting the site requirements of pixel size and memory size.

The challenge for this month is "Creatures of the Deep". If you choose to participate these images should be of either creatures we know exist in the underwater environment, or creatures of legend and fantasy that are reported to live beneath the waves. This means you have a wide variety of creatures you can make images of. Whales, Porpoises, Dolphins, Walruses, Fish, Octopus, Squid, Crab, Lobster, Shelled creatures like Clams or Oysters, Starfish, Jellyfish, and more are creatures we know exist in the sea. Then there are the legendary creatures, Like Mermaids, Sea Dragons, Kraken, Sea Monsters, Leviathan, and the King of the Sea, Poseidon, also known as Neptune. Or perhaps you would rather do Prince Namor of Marvel Comics, or Aquaman of DC Comics. The possibilities abound. The Waters of the Earth cover about 3/4 of the planet, and in all of that is the worlds largest and most diverse amount of species, both real and imagined. So pick your favorites and make them come alive in your renders.

Now it is not a requirement that your images be done for the challenge. Images of any type that meets the requirements of this thread are welcome. But while you may post images of sizes that are large in pixels (2000 pixels + in at least one direction) I must encourage you to place such images in The Big Picture Thread for 2023. The Big Picture Thread has been getting very few images, and it is hungry to be gorged with much more, so consider posting your images that are those sizes in it.

Now to get this thread started on the right track I am posting one that is of a size large enough for The Big Picture Thread, but because it is within the theme of this month's Challenge, I am posting it here.

Emperor of the Deep
Poseidon rules the seas and oceans of the Earth, the largest realm of the world. Mayhaps while you are sailing upon it, you should be respectful toward him. You might not want to be lured by his Sirens, who would drag you down to the bottom of the sea, where you would drown.

An excellent one for the Challenge, Simon! I love it!
I was hoping somebody would do a whale, and you did it in style! Oh Yeah!

A nice one, Erika! Very well done, indeed!
I'd like to know where you found that Kraken figure.

I believe it's this: https://www.daz3d.com/kraken-hd-for-genesis-9

Why does the site add [ size ] tags when I insert a link?

I went to DAZ, put a search in for kraken, and found it. It is for Genesis 9. But thanks DanaTA.
As for the size tag on the link, I've no idea why that's happening.
