Agent can the effects also be postwork?

Yes they can, Sanbie. Do yours in whatever way you wish.

The main effect in my first image, is the plasma lightning. I extracted that effect from an existing Shader and used it in the opacity channel of the Surfaces Pane in DAZ Studio. I also plugged it into the Specular channel, the Ambient Channel, the Displacement Channel and the Reflective Channel.hannThis I used on a primitive sphere, and sunk it halfway into the floor at a large size. Then I used the vertical and horizontal tiling to make it look highly energetic.
There's two other effects used in the image; The Wormhole Vortex, which I made using Amberlight 2, and PD Howler. The last effect is the reflectivity of the walls and floor, along with the displacement images I made in JSPlacement and PD Howler. You can even see the reflections of the Vortex and the Plasma Lightning.
Yeah, I kind of went all out for that image.
As for post work effects, you'd be surprised how many of my images have that type. Like where a Sun or Bright Star is in the scene, I will enhance the render by adding lens flare in post work! PD Howler does that really well; and you'd be surprised to see how easy that is to do!
So yes, do your effect in post work. It will be welcome here.

Haaa.. sorry about that Cathy... I have a glass one in the works also... I must have been looking at 2022... My fault for posting when I'm tired and eyes are hurting... lol.
