I lost my Direct Express card, through which I get my SSI retirement pay, and have been trying to report it lost, and have a replacement sent to me. All this during a time when I am in the process of moving. Still have not been approved for the place we are trying to move into. That is causing us to need to keep the U-Haul truck until we are approved. That is costing us $40 extra for each additional day. If we had known how long the approval would take, we would have waited on getting a U-Haul truck. The timing of the card loss could not be worse. I need the card to pay what is needed to keep the truck until the approval. Now that has to come out of what My brother has, as I cannot have my new card sent to this address. I will need it sent to the address of where we are moving to. Until we are approved, that info cannot be provided to the place that issues the Direct Express card.
Talk about being between a rock and a hard place!!!

This one is about a young girl who gets caught up in the role of her Great Great Grandmother. I had to write a story for it. This is a short version of the story, but gets all the main story aspects across.

The Kitten - Ready to Fight

Her name is Selina Wayne, and she is the Great Great Granddaughter of Bruce Wayne (Batman) and Selina Kyle (Cat Woman).

On her 14th birthday a spoiled rich boy, thinking he could have his way with her, murdered her, when she rejected him and fought back. He hid her body in a dark alley, and cleaned away any evidence of his involvement in his crime. There were several cats living in that alley, and one breathed life back into her.

Soon she discovered that she had cat like abilities, and so she searched back through the history of her ancestors. She had heard the tales of her Great Great Grandmother, and thought they were just tall tales with little truth in them. But when she discovered the abilities that had manifested in her, she knew she needed to revisit those stories.

She learned of an old woman that had been a child when her Great Great Grandmother was roaming the nights in Gotham as Cat Woman, and the lady was in her late 90s. She paid the woman a visit, and found her to be a very wise lady. The woman gave her some guiding advice, and warned her of the consequences of not heeding that advice.

Over the next several months she went into training, honing her abilities and her skills. Meanwhile she was taking valuables from her murderer, confounding him at the same time, and he was unable to figure out how those items were disappearing. For her, it was akin to the counting coupe of certain Native American Tribal Warriors. For him it was a source of great frustration, which was the main reason she was doing it to him. She knew that when he finally came face to face with her again, his state of mind would be such that he would be unable to think things through. She planned to make it obvious to him that it was her doing all of it to him. She knew he would become so angry that he would make several mistakes while trying to kill her again. Then she would lead him into a situation that could end his life by his own hand.

Now it is the day before her 15th birthday, and she is testing her improved skills, to see how well they will work. She has manipulated a couple of thugs into a situation where they think she will be an easy victim. She is wearing a large well known diamond that she stole from her murderer, and they want it. They don't realize just what they are getting themselves into, but soon they will be beaten and incarcerated.
