Not a render... just an update with my life... My sister is back home in Arizona... She was sure talkative... I'm surprised she could take a breath between sentences... lol.

First foster kitten Slinky has a FURever home and the lady has been updating me and she's doing well.

Round 2 foster kittens are sooo adorable... 2 sisters.  Flamingo and Cactus... I did NOT name them.. lol.

I can understand that second name.  Kittens...a friend once had a kitten, so tiny and cute.  But when it jumped up on my lap, it was like needles sticking into my leg!  And a little later, welts.

They are cute.  Very different personalities I can see already.

I'm hoping some of you will give me your opinion on this type of skin surface for models.  I was trying to bring out as much of the models base texture as possible, while also reducing that aspect that can make the characters look plastic.  Also, please ignore the rogue light that is wrecking out the left shoulder of the model.  I haven't yet got control over the environmental lights.   So, do you like this skin type or ones that have more glow to them?

Cats do have sharp claws, what I call hypodermic needles. Those of kittens can be extremely sharp. That said, knowing what to do to keep incidents down takes time, practice, and experience. Kittens need to be disciplined against sticking you or scratching you. If one is doing so, forceful but not overbearing restraint will teach them what is acceptable or not. It takes time, usually several weeks to a few months, but normally the kitten will learn. To restrain one, I place my hand on the kitten's back and make it lay down. If it tries to struggle, a little more force lets the kitten know the effort is futile. Eventually it will lay there where you made it lay. Ease the hand off the kitten's back to see what it will do. If it tries to move, lay the hand on it's back again. This reinforces your control of the situation, and lets the kitten understand better. Don't worry, the kitten will still love you, in most cases.

She looks gorgeous! I think you hit the nail squarely on the head! My brother thinks she is very beautiful, and says "Don't change anything about her!"

Funny you should ask... lol.  I was looking at my own skin in the mirror today... I noticed I have a great bit of shine... and I wasn't even sweating.  lol.  So my opinion... not glow as much as shine... Just a touch to catch the lights... I see shine on my nose and cheeks mostly.  Rest of me is rather drab I'm afraid to admit.  Well done on the character!
