Wow! That is a popular dress! I'm currently working on an image using it and some great accessories that are also in DAZ's current Weekly Freebies.
Nice images Sanbie and Katje!


My first session using the dress got botched because I clicked on the wrong thing in DAZ Studio. It messed up my user interface, so that I could not fix it without closing the application. Thankfully, when I opened DAZ Studio again, the interface was back to my preferences, (still a work in progress, as I still need to make some changes to streamline the workflow).

Dana, that is indeed the Rhea Dress, and so is this one.



For this one I had to use Sakura for Keiko 6 as my character. I wanted something that would fit together with this challenge theme as the motivating factor. So I searched Google images for a good Cherry Blossom photo, which I opened in PD Howler 12 and converted to greyscale. It was saved in the same folder as the color image, but with the "gs" added to the title. I then took that to my Normal map generator utility app and made a normal map from it, naming it with "normal" added to the title. The images were used to retexture the front and back of the dress (The one that is in this week's DAZ Weekly Freebies, the week of February starting on the 10th of the month.) I wanted the Cherry Blossoms to have some displacement in the texture, which worked quite well. The textures I made took about 35 minutes to make and apply to the dress. I chose to put Sakura in a dance pose. She is dancing and singing the song that is her namesake; "Sakura". I know, there's no music attached to this image, but perhaps that one would be perfect for it.
The word Sakura is Japanese, and in English it means "Cherry Blossom". I learned to sing that song when I was in grade school. It really is a beautiful song, and I recommend listening to it, and learning the meaning of the lyrics. If you do, try having it translated into whatever language you speak.
This will be one of many images posted in the February Show Off Thread 2023 Fashion Show, in which the outfit used is this obviously popular Rhea Dress for Genesis 2 Female(s).

Thank you sanbie! It was so easy to do, it was like practically nothing to get it done. Sure beats the first attempt that got botched by my BIG MISTAKE; clicking on a thingy that messed up the user interface of DAZ Studio so that I could not fix it from within the application itself. Had to lose the first try because of it, as I had not yet saved my progress. At least I did not give up on it.

lol...Agent your easy to do and mine are very different...What with my eyes playing up...my computer not good enough to really cope with the renders...any had another play with La Femme...the skirt and top I think were a freebie from rendo...or perhaps daz...I remember it was a freebie lol  I used one of Kathryns backgrounds again.
