Well, We Made It to Another Year! &

This month is the first month of the year, and it is a time when we look back on Yester-Year, and forward into the New Year. The possibilities are endless.
With that in mind, Welcome to "The January 2023 Show Off Thread! Post all of your wonderful images here, for all of us to see and enjoy. Comments and discussions are welcome here as well! Please remember to keep your images and your language PG, as children can access and view what is here.


I have chosen to make this month's theme challenge a broad and widespread one:
"What Time Is It?"
1. Choose a period of time, and do an image set in that time.
2. Interesting Ways To Tell Time - What Is Your Clock?
3. Into the Future - Show a scene of the future you imagine.
4. Right Now -Show a scene of the present you imagine.
5. Into the Past - Show a scene of the past you imagine.
3, 4, and 5 require you to imagine something that might exist or happen, in whichever time you choose.


Janus is a mythological deity who rules over "Time" itself. His Greek name is Chronos. Janus is the Roman name for him. In ancient depictions of him, he has two faces; one on the front of his head, looking forward through time, and one on the back of his head, looking backwards through time. (Sounds like a good idea for an artist to do an image of!)

Here is my first for the month, and for the year:


"A Galaxy Within It"
Meet the Omni Ship!
Imagine in an unknown future or past, a ship is built that is 10,000,000 Lightyears long, and 5,000,000 Lightyears wide! It is so large that no galaxy could contain it, yet within an open chamber 1.5 million Lightyears across, a 150,000 Lightyear wide spiral galaxy is contained. The contained Galaxy is the source of energy for the entire ship.
The being that built the ship is known as 'Universo', A.K.A. 'Ergo'. He is an Omnite, and is the only being in the Universe that possesses two Omni Particles. All other Omnites possess only one Omni Particle. The are extremely powerful beings that the Omni Particles give fantastic abilities to.
'Ergo' is the ruler of the 'Omnites of Good', and his home is the Omni Ship!
This civilization is at level 5 on the Kardashev Scale!
Here, we find our heroes in the 28th Century, boldly exploring the Omni Ship.

I thought that I'd give Gen 9 a try and this is what I came up with.. I don't have a lot of clothes for the figure yet and only two characters but here you go.... also the background is one I created.

Wonderful Kathryn.... Yeah... G9 clothing is pretty scarce... unless you like lingerie... sheesh!  They are going a little overboard with the bras and pantiezzzzz... lol

They always do!  Even though they claim to be a family friendly site, it seems that the old adage, "Sex sells!", is alive and well in the marketing there!

Wonderful textures Erika... I've not gotten the outfit. 
Seems like Most Digital Creations is the only one making reasonable outfits for G9?  Daz' PAs are only making frilly underwear these days :(.

I snatched them up Erika, thank you so much.. Llola, when I first read your comment I thought you said that most were making "filthy" underwear instead of "frilly"... lol
