For those who want the stichwitch templates with seam guides and groupings marked here they are.
I made them size 2048.

Oh yeah these were made for the V4 morphing dress...but hopefully they are all the same as it is V4 in Daz Studio not poser.

The zip was done with 7zip

FYI... I can't open a 7zip file :(

How do you normally open the zips?

I usually use double click the zip on the PC laptop then it will open up to show the files. Then I make a new folder, give it the name of the zip and choose to compress it.

I found a web site that has Stitch Witch tutorials on it...now I remember how to not show the uv map!

This is done in Daz and an iray render...now I have to go do something better with the neck!...back to the drawing board...I may even change the color of it all as I was going to make it into a wedding dress...but it's been so hard just trying this...I am not going to muck around too much more lol.

I've used StitchWitch in the past.  Not for quite a while, though.  Richard Eagle had posted some tutorials on it way back.

Nope.. tried that numerous times!  My windows 10 keeps asking for a file to open it up with.  Nothing pops up.  Oh well... I can make do with the templates I've got :)  thanks.

Wish I could buy Stitch Witch... I missed out on it when Daz pulled the product :(

That's a great start!!!  Once you know Daz better you can convert everything over to IRAY and they will look more natural.  The files for Victoria 4 are for 3Delight... she looks a little flat for me too.  I converted her to Iray with a little shininess and she looks more real.  I think I tweaked the bump and displacement maps too.  Also V4 skin isn't very good... I'm experimenting with the other character skins for her.  I like a little more detail in my characters.

If you make textures for the V4 fit of the MFD, those textures should work on every other version except the Stephanie Petite version (Mil 3). Only the latter version uses slightly different UV templates.
As for hiding the UV template, I don't include that in my final textures. Rather I copy and paste my texture layers onto a new image file, that has the exact same dimensions as the UV template. That way I don't get bleed through in my final product.
I use the Surfaces Tab Edit page of DAZ Studio to apply my textures to the model. I make texture maps for the Diffuse, Bump, Displacement, Specular, Opacity, Transparency, Ambient, and Normal Surfaces features, applying them by loading them into those channels.
I am working to learn how to use the Poser Pro 11 equivalent of the above DAZ Studio feature, and when I learn it, I will be doing the same as above in Poser.

Llola, if you want to be able to open compressed files of all kinds, try downloading 7Zip; it's free. Using it is pretty straightforward and easy to understand.
