I scan my program downloads from sites like softonic. I use another free program called Malwarebytes, my top antimalware program. Keep it up to date and it will catch practically everything that is not right. I also have Windows Defender set to auto scan several times per day, plus I have Glary Utilities, and another cleaner on my PC. I rarely have any trouble warding off malware and hacks.

beware, I cna't remember where I read it some time ago...softonic has a tendency to insert ads and sometimes viruses.


I was told that the zip with the number 1 is in reality the update to the program but heck if I know for sure.

too late... downloaded already... My computer checks for viruses... (fingers crossed it didn't download anything bad)

Wish people would only use ZIP cause my Windows opens it... But I know not everyone can.\

I've used StitchWitch in the past.  Not for quite a while, though.  Richard Eagle had posted some tutorials on it way back.

I think I still have his tutorial somewhere.  I used to follow it almost every time I did something, because it wasn't often, and I'd forget things.

Richard was very generous with his tutorials.  I have not been able to find him anywhere for several years.  He quit the forum he used to run.  Nobody knows exactly why, but we assumed something happened to his mom and he went dark.  But, I don't think he'd mind if I shared them.  He put them up for us to freely use.  I think I remember he encouraged sharing them.  There are two.  Can I post zips here?  I'll try...

What I might do is upload these later to the tutorial section where I have placed the link to the zips...then people can decide which they would prefer...as these will get lost eventually when the pages turn...
