I have been told that. I used to play comp games and one I always wanted was Duke Nuk'em. When I found out the add-on games were PC only I decided to see the difference. Imagine my surprise to see that if I changed some file extension names it worked like normal. I went to a forum and there was a neonatal surgeon/doctor there and he wanted to know what I did, I told him and we were emailing back and forth. He got his end to behave except for one episode that would die midway...LOL


He kept telling me how he was trying to convert the add-on for mac usage and that I could tell him...I was honest and told him that was all I had done for movie and sound files no coding since I knew not how at that time. He asked for a saved copy of that episode -- so I did and he was able to continue from there. He said that he was going to send it to the game people that created/distributed it and I told him to  let me know what they said. Then I told him to be careful driving.

He answered with "How did you know I was going to be driving?" That is when I found out he also was a race car driver and his trip was to a race in Italy. I then heard from him when he returned and learned that if he had just gone with his instinct and not heard me again saying to be careful he would have been very hurt. He then told me that he was sending me the game the creators got to work for mac. He never told him that I helped and they made an easter egg thanking him for his hard work....LOL ah well that is the way the cookie crumbles. Never heard from him again.
