They are here from EyeDesign.
This is a FREE pack of 40 MatCap toon style textures compatible with any 3D software (C4D/Blender/Maya).  It includes many different styles of toon style textures like halftone, cel shader, Spiderverse/TMNT, and watercolor!
Perfect to add that toon style to any model using MatCap!

Wow those look awesome. Will they work in DAZ Studio and Poser?

It says it's for MatCap.  I think that's a third party product, an add-on for Blender and the others...may not work with DS.

Since I don't use DS or anything aside from Poser this might helps others.

I do have Blender, but am not yet proficient with it. The same goes for Poser, though I am working to learn more about each of them. I understand that Blender and Poser do share at least one Render engine, which I believe is called Cycles, so that is a plus for learn both.
Now DAZ Studio does have some rather nice shaders, of which I am getting really good at mixing and matching; plus I am able to make my own 3Delight Shaders that look really awesome. So maybe if I cannot use those shaders, I can at least make some comparable ones for DAZ Studio. We shall see.

After reading that, I'm inclined to not bother with it.  It sounds sort of like they eye materials in DS where the light is part of the texture, so no matter where the actual light is, the eyes always have the same reflection, in the same spot.

I wasn't sure what to do with these either. Once I found an app that can even read them correctly, all I got was a bunch of round images that look vaguely like sphere maps. Going from the article, that's sort of what they are, only they're for a specific shader that uses the normal value from the camera view. I think I was able to work out how to do it in Poser. Requires Cycles, of course.
