Llola, to me the first of your latest images is my fave. A well put together environment! In your second one I am seeing that you used Depth of Field to bring focus on the toy bear. Very well done!

Knight Rider Dark Nova


In the 2020s there was a need for an agency that would work secretly to take down very dangerous individuals with designs to subvert our government. An old agency had done the same nearly forty years prior to then. The agent who was the sole operative in the old endeavor, was highly successful at his job. His name was Michael Knight. After a time he disappeared, as the people he would take down mounted a serious hunt for him. They never found him, but they also never realized their own goals for fear that he was watching. This could not last forever.
Nearly forty years later, these dangerous people have either resurfaced on the scene, or their protege` have reimplemented their goals, as the Knight Rider seems to have dropped out of it forever. But the agency never fully shut down; having taken on a watcher role, keeping an eye open for signs that things were about to happen. So they noticed the signs and decided to restart the Knight Rider Agency. Michael Knight has taken the command of this agency, and has implemented not just one agent to conduct all of the missions, but several. Also, they are working to bring down those diabolical individuals wherever they are in the world. Still working in secret, as Michael did in his day. The vehicles are more advanced, and are suited to the operative's top driving skills. Here we see one, Code Name: Knight Rider Dark Nova. His vehicle is an advanced motorcycle, that has some amazing abilities of its own. Through the use of Actionable Hydraulic Shocks, this motorcycle can actually jump over any other vehicle, or to an overpass, just to name one ability. It is connected via sattelite to the KITT  advanced mainframe, as is the helmet worn by the operative. This operatives name is Daniel Black. He has the appearance of being slight of build, and a demeanor of not being a fighter. This is only his appearance though. He is fully capable of handling nearly any adversary; even if that adversary is more than twice his size, and has great skiils in martial arts. When he needs to Daniel can move blindingly fast, which brings a surprise to his attackers. Usually the fight is over in seconds, with Daniel as the victor. He also has plenty of other useful skills.
There are a large number of other operatives, whom we shall meet in future missions; however, this one is Michael's Protege`, having trained under Michael himself. He has quickly surpassed the feats of his master.
As a final note, Michael would like you to take special notice of the helmet Daniel is wearing. It has special capabilities of its own. All that tech you see on its siurface can impart its wearer with some extremely advanced abilities. One very useful ability is what is known as a cloaking field. When active, Daniel can become unnoticeable by any who are not within three feet of him. He is not really invisible at greater distances, but can pass through as though he is not there. The device makes the observer focus on other things via a particular high pitched tone that is inaudible to the human ear, but that the brain nonetheless still notices as coming from a direction other than Daniel. Daniel uses this to his advantage.

Here's one you could say fits the monthly challenge theme, as the Mermaids are considered by some to be "Sisters of the Sea".



Swim With Me


Beautiful creatures, these Mermaids! They are the Sirens of the Sea, and inhabitors of the deep. They have lured many land walkers, who tried to master the sea in their pitiful boats, to a watery grave! I could tell you "If you meet one, Beware their song!" They want you to swim with them! You shouldn't, but more than likely; you will! "How did I escape their siren song?", you ask! By chaining myself to the mainmast, and making my crew plug their ears!


Based on a part of Homer's "The Odyssey"


The story does not end with the legend, as there have been many sailors who thought they had seen one, and this down through the ages from the present to as far back as recorded history goes.
One explanation states that in may have been a walrus basking on a rock that had seaweed draped over its head, thus the resemblance to a woman, but with a fishlike tail. Such men would have been long at sea without seeing a true woman, quite possibly in years, as many sea voyages in ancient times lasted several years.
So lasted the voyage of Odysseus for twenty years, in which time he was supposedly lured by the song of the Siren, and became a love slave of the infamous Calypso. He was able to break free when he remembered his own beloved wife; a love that was far beyond the power of Calypso!
But even in modern times, sailors have reported seeing these creatures, saying they were truly beautiful. My own father reported that while at sea, many of the men he served with claimed to have seen mermaids, swearing that what they saw was real, and not imagined. My father never saw one himself, but the tales he brought home from shipmates were interesting nonetheless! In case you haven't guessed, my Father served in the US Navy for over 21 years. I was always asking him if he had seen a mermaid in his travels, and always he would say "Not me personally, but if my shipmates are to be believed, many of them have!" If he had ever told me that he had seen one, I would have asked him to describe her.
In the legendary sense, Mermaids lure you in by singing a song born of the sea. It is a highly beautiful song with hypnotic allure. It makes you see them as being very beautiful, but when they have you in their clutches, that beauty dissolves, and you see them as they really are, though by then it will be too late for you to realize.
I did this image with the above last paragraph in mind. In it you can see how from a distance she might appear to be exceedingly beautiful, but when you are close enough to see her better...

There's still time to get images posted for this thread, but tomorrow is the last day of this month. So hurry if you want to post another image or two.


Here is my latest. I recently got the Hiro 3 Silver Knight outfit, currently free at DAZ 3D. Not posting an image using it though. I don't have Hiro 3, except as a morph for Genesis. I do have Aiko 3; in fact three different versions of her in my Millennium 3 figure collection. I also have a morph that makes Genesis take the shape of Aiko 3. The great thing about having the product that does this is that it also makes it possible to fit Millennium 3 clothing, hair, and accessories to Genesis. The product is Gen X; the one that provides the morphs for shaping Genesis into the Mil 3 and 4 main figures. It allows clothing, hair, and accessories from any of those figures to be fitted to Genesis. The cool thing about this is that you can also mix the morphs from any of the many different morphs for Genesis, and the fitted stuff will still fit most of the time. Some things may not fit right on extreme morphs, but most will.
So this image is using the Aiko 3 morph for Genesis for the female, and the Hiro 3 morph for Genesis for the male. These are the two Anime figures that we all recall from the Millennium 3 figure collection. I always thought the two appeared to be siblings. So, though I don't yet have the original Hiro 3, since I do have the morph of him for Genesis, and the Aiko 3 morph also for Genesis, those are the two I am using for this image. The fact that it is Genesis being used for both has the added benefit of being a less flawed figure, like eliminating the armpit pinch that shows in the originals when their arms are at their sides. The outfit I used for Aiko 3 is perhaps a favorite for many 3D artists, and I like to think it is Aiko 3's favorite as well; the MechGirl Suit. I chose a David 5 suit for Hiro. The environment is the Portrait Venue 3 product. I did a lighting set using only Linear Point Lights from the DAZ Create Menu. Of course I had to use the Mitsu Hair for Aiko 3 on Genesis Aiko 3, as it is still a big favorite hair for me, having lots of great morphs to make it do a lot of movements and shaping. Hiro's hair is from the Pure Hair collection, as it looks the most anime.
I wanted to do a Brother and Sister image for the Mil 3 Anime Genesis morphs, and this is the result.
