As some of you may already know, my husband has prostate cancer that's metastesized into his bones.  He went into the hospital this past week with breathing problems and they not only found out that he had pneumonia in his right lung, but the cancer had spread to his lungs too.  They've moved him to a rehab for therapy and, hopefully, he'll be ambulatory and home soon.

Meanwhile, like I always do when I'm upset or worried about something, I took to my art to vent.  Death can't have him yet.

Oh my Cathy... I did not know that... You tell Death to just move along...  I hope he gets better soon... Hugzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

So sorry to hear that, Cathy!  I hope for a full recovery!

Cathy, all my best wishes for you and your husband. Cancer is not an easy thing to live with. May members of my family have passed because of it. My mother, My oldest brother's wife, a couple of aunts, are all gone now. I miss every one of them.

Please help Cathy's husband get well, Dear Lord.

I want to thank all of you.  But the fact is that, unless they come up with new treatments, he won't be with me this time next year.  It's incurable and spreading.  I'm just not ready to let go of him yet.  I'm going to keep him with me through sheer force of will as long as possible.

Your image is truly beautiful in it's expression and imagery.  I wish you respite from the frequent medical events, and warm tranquility between.
