Making material files in poser

Ok hopefully this wont get lost this way...

Open poser go to material room and add your textures... Keeping this open all the time...



When you have done that...click on your material Tab...

REMEMBER both material tabs MUST be open...

If you haven't already made a folder...make one now by clicking the left hand +



Make sure the folder has been opened to save the material file...




When you click select material another box will open...tick all the materials you need to add...


Then that's it..you now have your material file...




You can put these into a runtime so that you can share your textures with people...
or edit the mtl file to make a pz2

Now see -- I already have another question. I can't work on the amor set any more until I get some more textures which I want. So, I want to make some textures for Pippin. I opened the pants and T Shirt outfit template. Have never seen one like it. Looks like she has piled stuff on top of each other. I tried to move them about, but they all move together. If I cut them up, that will mess up the sleeves I think. How do you handle this?


Oh yeah, and what are the little straight pieces for?

If you go select by material..you will see a list pop up with all the material sections...this will tell you what the bits are....
