My yearly daz sub ran out awhile back. I'd picked it up for a month for a recent sale, but only because the math worked out well. You still need a slide rule to workout their discounts though. Somethings haven't changed LOL

Yeah, I need to update my FA gallery. I haven't done anything with it since...well things haven't been well for the past 5 years or so. Doing better some days.

YUP we are all behind on stuff. no idea  when we will catch up but doing it by force is not enjoyable. I havn't done artwork either and now need to make a new banner for the store as well as the attic logo banner for the Halloween page but have not even got that started. Learning Poser and PS all over again due to mostly doing coding for store and attic and here upgrades that killed our homes...LOL

Yeah, I've been out of the web arena for quite awhile now. I'd got more involved in other things and didn't keep up...

There's been some interesting updates to GIMP lately that I've been planning to look into. I'd been stuck with an old version of PS that predates all of the mandatory subscription nonsense. It just barely works in Win11 on my new display. Then again, Poser isn't any better. At least I can cajole them with Windows "compatibility" settings to make them usable...

Sorry to hear about everyone's troubles. Life can throw up some nasty suprises and harsh curveballs from time to time. I've also been kept away due to external real life stuff and so haven't managed to fire up Daz Studio in a few months now.

I hope that things will recover and we can return to posting some renders when time and health allows.

Thought I'd drop in to say g'day. It's been ages since opening up Poser at all or getting on Renderosity - even though I did upgrade Poser at one stage, thinking I'd get back into it. Which I haven't. Same with Blender: sort-of moved on to other areas, like writing music:

Unfortunately, the musescore.com folks try to get you to sign in to listen to the piece, which is desperately annoying - let me know if you'd like to actually hear it.

All to say, whilst I feel guilty for not posting or anything - and certainly for not at the very least saying hi from time to time - I guess we all do move on to other things sometimes... it's sort-of a natural thing, isn't it?

Wishing all of you the best of delightful artistic endeavours, whereever they may take you...
Cheers...

I pop in weekly to see what's been posted. In the middle of trying to clear out my drives, deal with my three granddaughters, (yes it has been a while since I did any art, seven years at least :) ) and re-install stuff (on Win 11, so trying to get to grips with that)

Grange say's hello to you all, he's even worse than me at getting online time

Totally understandable. Things have gone awry for loads of us, comps, health and programs that have been possessed by Satan Spawn.

Tell him hi and yup I envy you not at all. I helped my daughter figure out her W11 and right now between Attic disappearing, store being nasty I also have to contend with Thunderbird not behaving. I updated it on my iMac to the latest and it killed it, now it won't even reinstall right at all.

Wow...that's a bummer. I don't think there's any easy way to roll back to a previous version, and MacOS doesn't seem to have an equivalent to a Windows "restore point" to undo bad updates either... Hopefully someone on their community forum has a solution. And of course, backup anything that's not stored on the email service. Personally, I backup the Thunderbird user profile as a precaution.

Know very little about Macs, so the only advice I could give is look at giveaway of the day (www.giveawayoftheday.com) The Iphone section has daily software giveaways that might have a full backup/recovery program. I know the windows section has stuff for iphone/ipad/ios recovery fairly regularly, they might even have a mac section, never actually looked to see
