Quote from: eblank99 on August 16, 2025, 12:37:21 AMWell, I started being active (again) in politics - at the age of 67! There are regional elections in mid September and my party nominated me as a candidate for our city parliament. One of the things I am "fighting" for is heat protection in our city - I was even mentioned in a newspaper article with my full name  :tearlaugh:
I visited this forum now and then and I restarted making textures for clothing. But priorities (like taking care of my grandson) are different now.
Oh Erika... Congratzi on being nominated.  I have NO idea what "heat protection in our city" is.... but it sounds important.  I look forward to seeing your new textures... Will you post them at Fantasies Attic???  Stay well... hugzzzzzzzz

Hello all, yup that is why I said that things are atrocious for us all. I myself have started falling down again even at home with these stupid feet that don't work right. The heat, trees falling and pinning me inside the house, backed up toilet due to ancient sewers that the city doesn't care to work on in our end of town. Trying to figure out how to pay them bills.

I have lost 2 kitties this year one just recently but I finally whipped that store back into shape, will be adding new items this weekend, neglected the Attic and here to do it too. Doctors for self and one daughter that broke her anklle and is just barely starting to keep her weight on it plus health stuff for her.

Aetna sent us a letter that starting Jan 2026 they are no longer covering Kansas so she has to get another provider...that doesn't want an arm and leg.

Even just coming in to say that you all are fine, sick can't create is alright to do, it shows you all still want the site to be here. THAT is the most important part of any site...members letting each other know.

Sorry to hear of your woes GA and Sanbie's had issues lately too and,     :congratulations: to Erika  :HappyDance:

Thanks for the headzzzzzzz UP DA... Sorry about kittiezzzzzzz... We have a +1 now... Soxy... her hooman, for 11 years, passed away at Christmas time.. she's living in our familyroom so that means no more fostering for us.  The NO KILL shelter I volunteer at wanted to put her to sleep!!!  Long story... but we are lucky to have her and she's doing fine.  Doesn't seem to mind being in one room.. She's safe away from our other cats.

I still do art occasionally, when I have the time and energy for such things. I'd stepped back from forums and "social media" in general, for a variety of reasons...mostly for my own sanity. Many things are not what they once were.

Daz has definitely changed after the buyout(s). It's hard to keep track...

Totally understand that... my Daz premium ends in October and I may just let it not renew.  I'm not buying much anymore... I have waaaaaaay more content then I will EVER render in my lifetime... lol.  I'm sure you can post your artwork at FA... somewhere... I get so confused over there.  Stay well.. hugzzzzzzzzzz

I'm trying to focus my purchases more on what I'd likely use in severally projects...once I get to working on them. I'll still need to go back and reorganize what I already have.

My yearly daz sub ran out awhile back. I'd picked it up for a month for a recent sale, but only because the math worked out well. You still need a slide rule to workout their discounts though. Somethings haven't changed LOL

Yeah, I need to update my FA gallery. I haven't done anything with it since...well things haven't been well for the past 5 years or so. Doing better some days.

Thank you! Well, with the climate change, we now have longer periods of high temperatures that also cause more "heat deaths", especially of older people who don't drink enough. In Germany, we still WALK to supermarkets, not everyone has a car or uses it for short trips, there are even people who ride to work on a bike. Our city needs more places in the shadow, where people can sit down and rest or fill up their bottles with fresh water - for free.
As to the textures: I uploaded them on renderosity. Latest below.

I have been so busy with work that by the time I log off for the day, I just don't have the energy to go online as much.
