Welcome to the June 2025 Show Off Thread!

Post all of your wonderful June Images here for all of us to see and enjoy!

Keep you images Kid Friendly, and PG.

Please stay within the Pixel and Memory size limits for this site.

Our Challenge for this month is all about clothing for that special day of Weddings, but with a twist:
The clothing for the Bride, the Groom, The Bridesmaid, the Groomsman, and any other member of the Wedding Party; must be a mix from 2 or more product ensembles! You may do a portrait of one member of the Wedding Party, The Bride and Groom, The Bridesmaid & Groomsman, the Flower Girl, The Minister of Ceremonies, etc., or you can do a group shot! The clothing just has to be from different sets mixed together to make unique looking outfits on the characters in your image.
Example:
Shoes from one outfit, mixed with a Dress from another outfit, Gloves from another outfit, and jewelry from one or more different sets.
The style is all up to you, but make it look like it belongs in the Wedding.

Some suggestions for you to think about to add flavor to your images:
1. The Morphing Fantasy Dress has several texture sets that have been made by many members of PFDLives, many of which would look awesome as part of your Bride's outfit, or the outfits of the other Female Wedding Party Members. That dress alone has the most texture sets I have ever seen, made by many artists through the years, especially in the old Texture Challenge Series we had here at PFDLives. Consider using some of those texture sets, if you wish.
2. Using different Skirts, Tops, Shirts, Jackets, Pants, Hats, Gloves, Veils, Shoes, Capes, and Jewelry, textured by using interesting Shaders of Cloth, Metals, Leathers, and Gemstones, to create a unique look and style, you can make the Wedding outfits look really great. Or you could just apply your own base textures to them. If the pieces have several material zones, think about applying different shader textures to each of those material zones, and perhaps matching them via those shaders or textures, to other parts of your clothing mix up.

While an environment is not a must for these images, having one will enhance the feel of an image.

June is the month when lots of Weddings are happening, so let's see what you can do with it, in this interesting challenge theme!

This image is one I did back in 2023, and has been posted in a thread here from that year. For that reason, it will not be included as part of the Challenge! The Bride has a Mixed outfit that I put together to get the look I wanted, but the Father and Mother of the Bride are both wearing the Space Dweller outfits for M4 and V4, which I used Cloth Shaders to retexture.
About the Bride's outfit:
Her veil is from one product pack, her dress is from another, her stockings, from another, her shoes from another, and her jewelry from another. All characters in this image are Genesis characters, with the clothing fitted using DAZ Studio's "Fit To" tools.

This image is of part of the Wedding Rehearsal, in which the Father of the Bride is escorting her to stand next to her Groom.

Sounds like a plan Agent... Great theme idea :)  I'll join shortly...wait for it.. waaaaaaait!!!  lol

So funny you picked wedding Agent... I just so happened to create a wedding render for my Monthly Challenge over at Daz.  I revamped my bride with Iray shaders and lighting.  I will post both so you can see the difference.  (FYI.. also notice the render time differences.. WOW)  ENJOY!

Agent0013

Wow Llola! They both look great, but I like the second one best, because the flowers have more vibrant colors! Very well done on both! Love the depth of field on your camera settings too!

So which one is Iray, and which is 3Delight?

The Flower Girl Faerie

People in the Fantasy World are wanting to get married on the Red Carpet at Dovecote Folly! There are other famous fictional characters that just want to be a part of a Wedding Party at Dovecote Folly! Even Magical creatures like Faeries are wishing to take part!

This young Faerie named Kenna Fae, heard about a friend of hers planning a wedding, and it was to be at Dovecote Folly! She made a wish to herself:
"Please, let my friend ask me to be the Flower Girl at her wedding!" Then she granted her own wish!

The next day her friend showed up at her Domicile. "I'm begging you to grant my wish for you to be the Flower Girl at my wedding!"

"I wished for you to ask me to be the Flower Girl at your wedding; and then I granted my own wish! Today you have come and asked me to grant your wish, which I wished for you to wish!" They both giggled. "Your wish is granted!"

A week later Kenna Fae has put together a special outfit to wear for the occasion, and she looks stunning in it! As She carries a stem of two fantasy flowers down the aisle, she is smiling happily! Everything had come together as she had wished it to!

Credits:
This image was done to be a sequel to another image I did way back in 2013, the very same one that was posted as the first image for the June Show Off Thread 2025, at PFDLives.com.

I used the Morphing Fantasy Dress and made a special texture for it. The rest of the outfit is from other product packs. There are parts from I think 5 or 6 different packs. Each part is retextured, even the jewelry. Her hair is The Dakota Hair for V4, used on A5. Her skin, makeup, and eye color textures are from the Art Kenna Textures for A4 Pack.

To give Dovecote Folly a red carpeted walkway, I used a red velvet cloth shader, and darkened the red color to achieve the look I wanted.

Lights and Camera created and edited in DAZ Studio 4.10 Pro.

Rendered in DAZ Studio 3Delight. Render time - 34 minutes, 14 seconds.

I'm thinking people could just be too busy trying to make it in this messed up economy. Even so I have been checking back here to see if anybody is visiting, and it has been disappointing to see there is nothing happening! That said, I'm still going to post an image here. It's not challenge theme related, but it is a good Sci Fi one.
As it has a longish short story attached it will be posted for the next comment.
I'm proud of the work I have put into the image I am posting in the next post. I think it might be among my best.

Girls Piloting Wheel Fighters

Never underestimate the females of the dominant species in the Galaxy know as NGC 1300; a Barred Spiral Galaxy that is a member of the InterGalactic Alliance (IGA). That is what a particular Armada of 5,000 Pirate Ships did, when they decided to invade and try ravaging the entire galaxy.
The Pirates enter the galaxy on the hunt for the males of all sentient species in the galaxy. Of course they began looting the planets they found, defiling the females of all humanoid species, and killing the males to keep them from defending their females. All was going the way they planned, or so they thought.

They came upon the species known as the Aulds, and one Pirate ship crew tried to capture some females of exceptional beauty on one of the Auld Worlds. But the Pirates had bit off more than they could chew, so to speak! These beauties were Warriors of exceptional skill, and uncanny cunning! The Pirate Ship Crew were all killed and their ship was destroyed and sent toward the approaching armada as a message!

Well, as Pirate always believe they are superior fighters, by striking fear into their victims, they took the destroy and crewless ship as a challenge. By that time all Auld Worlds had been informed of the pitiful invasion of the Pirate Armada. Millions of Wheel Fighters took to launching into extragalactic space near NGC 1300; placing themselves between their galaxy and the Pirate Armada. 91% of those fighters were piloted by the Auld Females, and the other 9% by various pilots from other NGC 1300 worlds; some female, and some male.

It was enough to give the Pirates a concern at so many coming against them, but when they looked at the fighters these people were piloting, they began to laugh; thinking those little wheel shaped craft would have not chance against the powerful weapons their ships were armed with. The small fighters were held back long enough to allow the Pirates to study them, and come to the conclusion that those fighters could not withstand the devastating weapons their ships had to bear! It was exactly what the Auld Warrior Females wanted them to think.

Then all of the Wheel Fighters jumped at the Armada, weapons firing their green disintegrator beams, doing great damage to whatever ship they hit. Four ships of the Armada were completely destroyed in the first 5 seconds of the battle, in the next ten seconds, fifteen more were destroyed! The Pirates were scrambling, trying to reorient their ships because of this unexpected surprise! And the devastation continued unabated! By the time 1 minute had passed, the Pirates had lost more than two hundred ships; all of them ships thought to be powerfully armed!

Too late, the Pirates realized that the Females of the Auld were the real warriors, not the males! Too late they also realized that the tiny Wheel Fighters were extremely hard to hit with weapon fire, due not only to their size, but also due to their extreme maneuverability.

One Pirate Gunnery Mate witnessed one of those fighters rolling along a mast cable with surprising ease, and firing its weapons at multiple targets that were not along its path; and as it launched back into space, it spun around, and fired at his gun turret. Then he was no more! The last thing he saw was a yellowish green brightness, then he was gone!

The Wheeled Fighters had successfully corralled the Pirate Armada, and still not even one of their fighters had been hit. Less that 30 minutes had reduced the 5,000 Pirate ships to just 4. Many of the crewmembers of those four were lost, and some had been badly injured. They barely had enough in their crews to make in back to their own Pirates Guild Galaxy! But they were allowed to leave, carrying a message to the rest of the pirates:
"If you should be considering attacking the NGC 1300 Galaxy, BEWARE! The most devastating Warriors there are females! DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THEM!"

I modeled this Star Fighter Craft in Wings3D, and assigned material zones to it! It is made of three parts designed to fit together with no gaps.
Part 1: MeshWheel_V-01
Part 2: PilotControlSection
Part 3: WheelFighterTranspHull
This craft has not been UV Mapped yet; however, each part will be getting at least one UV Map. The Pilot Control Section will have 2 or 3 UV Maps. This is to simplify the job of making texture sets for this Fighter Vehicle.
I also plan to do a simple rigging job for the assembled model, as it is meant to have just 2 moving parts. They are the MeshWheel_V-01, to allow it to rotate in a rolling way, in animations, without the rest of the craft doing so. The other part that moves is the PilotControlSection. It will pivot on the vertical Y Axis, to open the craft for boarding and exiting the craft.
There may also be 2 other parts that move, which are the pedals attached to the seat. If I decide to rig that it will make a total of 4 moving parts. The Pedals will just swing up and down to act as part of the control systems of the craft. For the moment I will just rig the other 2 moving parts, as they are major parts, while the pedals are just small parts.
Making texturesets for the model will involve using heightmap and matching color textures I generate in a utility called JSPlacement. This utility generates 8K heightmaps that can be reduced in size to work with multiple applications. Indeed I have used some of them in applications such as Bryce 7.1 Pro and DAZ Studio 4.10. Some of my images that I used the heightmaps in have won art contests! That's how good that utility program is.
There are other programs I have that can also make some awesome textures; AmberLight 2, FlamePainter,
and LuminanceStudio, to name a few. Some textures made for this model may be made in one or more of those.
About the Way the Image was Done:
In DAZ Studio I imported the PilotControlSection. I did not yet want the other part to be imported yet. I made sure the PilotControlSection could not be moved from its, position or rotated in any way. I then hid the part.
Next, I loaded Giselle 6 did some morphs for her face, her ears, and her chest. I then dressed her in the Let's Get Physical for Genesis 2 Female(s) outfit, but left out the Leggings and Leg Warmers.
Other Products I put on her include:
Clara Collection for Genesis 2 Female(s) Necklace and Earrings
Royal Elf for Genesis HeadPiece
Molten Outfit for Genesis 2 Female(s) Upper Arms, and Upper Legs
Etheria for Genesis 2 Female(s) Etheria Shoes
Xanadu Hair (which I can fit to any figure)
I made the Pilot Pose from scratch, using the pose dials to achieve the desired pose.
2 Primitive Cylinders 2 inches in diameter and 30 yards in length are the Laser Beams.
2 Linear Point Lights are the lights of the weapon emitter bulbs.
2 Distant Lights are the main lights for the scene.
The Astronomical Backdrop is a Hubble Photo of NGC 1300; the quintessential Barred Spiral Galaxy.
I rendered the first Wheel Fighter in the distance, on the left side. I edited that image in PF Howler 12. I then repositioned the Wheel Fighter on the right and a bit closer to the camera, and used the first render as the backdrop, for the second render. Back to PD Howler 12 for more editing, then loading the second render as the new backdrop. I brought the Wheel Fighter to the closest position in the center. I rendered that. Back to PD Howler 12 for the final edit, giving it the glowing special effects. I then did a bit of Hue, Saturation, and Value adjusting in PD Howler 12. It's final bit was to load it into MS Paint to add my Signature Logo.

You sure are great with the Sci Fi crafts Agent... I had to enlarge to see the gals... Interesting design.  Engines would have to be super small and oxygen would need to be micro too to work in space... but I like the concept.  Well done.  :)
