Changes coming to the forum!!

  Our host will migrate our entire server to another newer one faster than this one.  Since he expects downtime, so there won't be changes and hopefully no lost data, we will be turning off the forums   until we get the all-clear from them....this will include the store too. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Since our PHP is older I need to update our forum and store software---[yuck, lol] so it may take a bit to get the store going again. This means entirely different themes so there will be a difference in the  forums...maybe not so much the gallery    Happy b'day to me with the work...LOL

There will be downtime associated with the final migration activity. Please inform your users as needed.

What happens during the migration?
When we setup the new server, we do an initial migration of all data to the new server. Then we do initial testing on all sites to spot any issues that need attention. Once we're ready, web services are stopped on the old server (see the scheduled time above) to prevent new data from being written to Tornado and we do a final migration of any data that has changed since our initial data migration. During this final data-sync, your site(s) and email may be down for a period of time. It's difficult to estimate the duration but typically it should be less than an hour. Our last few servers completed in under 20 minutes.
