Some fine looking interiors, Al. I like that you can use the same room for several setups. The images showing views of the outdoors from inside a room, are some favorites for me.

Thanks. The FlexyRoom was never released because of it's complexity for the average user. The Terrace went by the wayside because a terrain add-on just looked horrible no matter what I tried and the structure it was to attach to became the Studio01 product.

'The Terrace' is available for free in the Projects tab at my store.

It's got to be the graphics card. I looked for one engineered to do rendering (anti-elastics, shadowing and dynamics). I use an ATI FirePro V5800 made by AMD. It was less the $100 and makes all the difference.

Here is a render of one of my all-time favorite places, The Village Courtyard.  It's always fun to play with lighting here and the texturing is wonderful.

"Sitting in an English garden waiting for the Sun.If the sun don't come you get your tan from standing in the English rain."
I just realized there are no sunbeams or bright spots in the first image!  What a goof up.  I've been in the gloom so long it looked natural to me.

Stonemason does great work...but so expensive!

Still looks off to me. Light is from the bottom -> up. Maybe try one with the light high to the left with shadows. Use a back light of a dark blue and a highlight straight from the front in dark orange, both set to around 20%. I think that would really make the granite stand out.
