WINNER!

That's correct Mary. I was blown away by this film. The concept and the visuals are outstanding. Loved the plot twist that I never saw coming. Cruise and Riseborough did such a great job with their very convincing character portrayals.

PM me with your pick from my store. Congrats!

Pictures from the movie...
Oh.. I didn't know I'd win a prize... I just was guessing cause I ACTUALLY knew the movie... lol.  You did such a great job with the modeling.. I knew right away!  Go figure.. I usually suck at trivia games... lol.  I have no idea where your store is... Maybe a linkie in your profile would be good?

duhh.. found it in your signature... Sorry... I must be blind!

Al, is the vehicle also available at your site? If I want the architecture, I want the vehicle too. Will have to watch Oblivion again, as it has been a while since I did. There are some things I cannot recall about that movie.

It is a great movie with an incredible story. Not only is the highly detailed SkyHab (with over 20 moving parts and 12+ props) available, but also the SkyCopter and Security Drone. Here is a 'Tech Manual' for the complete SkyHab setting.

DID-YOU-KNOW; 'Horizons' was the original name of the graphic novel Kosinski used to pitch the movie idea to Universal? The studio bought the rights the same day and appointed Kosinski the director.

See more at my store using the link in my signature line below.

I plan on giving LOTS of prizes away to this great community over the next year. I also have a give-a-way in my Animated PNG tutorial for each APNG posted. Get busy.

Here's another 'Architectural' render to get the thread back on track. Sorry for the interruption.

Since some of you are experimenting with A.I. images, note that DAZ A.I. Studio was released today.  I think I will wait a while to see what people think before doing that one.  But for the adventurous...   It seems a little strange to me that you can take anyone's photo and manipulate it into a "character" in Daz3D.  Maybe I'm too paranoid, who knows?

I, too, am unsure of AI.  Most importantly, to me, is that AI's are trained on other's real works of art or photography.  So, it's not your work.  Secondly, it's not your work.  Yes, I repeated.  This second protest is that the AI is doing the work, you're just suggesting what you want.  This is basically the much desired (by some) Make Art Button.  I'd rather see something you actually spent time on with your talent, whether it's small or great.

I agree with you there.  I wasn't thinking much about how previous art has been digitized to use as the foundation of the recommended images.   However, the A.I. pictures are pretty fun when you are goofing around.  I wonder if the site should have a tag or comment when people are using it.  So far it's been clearly stated as machine enhanced, and hopefully everybody will do that.

I am keeping an open mind with AI... I've been using it as 'inspiration' for creating artworks in Daz and mostly for the texture ideas.  My brain is old and I can't even conceive of some of the textures AI comes up with for me (coming up with 'creative' wording for prompts is no problem.. ;).  I then manipulate them into wonderful fabrics for my Daz and SecondLife clothing.  It is the wave of the future and it must be embraced just as all technologies.

Until you suddenly see that texture somewhere else and realize there may be many extremely similar textures out there, because it is based on something someone else did for real by themselves.  This "wave of the future" may actually be the wave of the end.  I've already seen a remark that there is no more need for new stuff from DAZ and such places, because new things can be made up from AI.  If one person was thinking that, you can be sure a lot more people have though that.

Yeah... I've been following the AI threads over there.  Lots of opinions... Some that make sense... and others that are just waaaaaay out there... lol.  I'm thinking how much internet has gotten us away from HAND Written letters to family and friends... Now we just send an email.  Computers/internet are such a big part of our lives these days.  I'm still trying to keep an open mind.  BTW... I've done HUNDREDS of fabric texture ideas with my Dream by Wombo... I have yet to see EXACTLY the same... Plus I'm manipulating them in my PSP to make them unique to me.  I'm really enjoying it!  I gave some shaders away for the Halloween and Christmas Gift Page at FA.  :)
