Reptilian Science Officer


Greetings. I am Science Officer Taurounn Va'Ag, a member of the command crew of the ISA Starship Magellan. I am from the planet Uurvn'Gaa, in the globular star cluster M13. I know, you're wondering why I don't sound like I look, as my voice is not gravelly. We Ta'Aurians may be predators, but we do not go out and hunt our prey. Rather we raise our meat animals on livestock farms. Even so, when my shipmates are about to be threatened, I will show up and smile at the would be attackers, which usually is enough to make them back down. Those that choose to press the attack, will hear me growl, and that will most often send them running. There are some that choose to attack anyway, but a swift swing of my tail will send them reeling across the deck, slamming up against whatever lies in that direction. But really, I am not into violence. I'd rather be studying the latest sample of life we found on a new world.

I recently bought a special morph package for Genesis called TyRex. It came with the base morph and texture set to make Genesis look like a reptilian. It also has a tail that loads with it, when I load TyRex. There is an option to load it without the tail as well. I wanted to experiment with it to see how much shaping I could do to make it look different from the base morph, so in DAZ Studio's Shaping/Edit Pane, I worked to reshape the face, head, and parts of the body, to arrive at this shape. I also wanted to see how well the Genesis Supersuit would fit TyRex. It did surprisingly well, though I did have to thicken it globally by a factor of 0.75%, due mostly to the displacement in the skin textures. His tail does not affect the shape of the SuperSuit. I think most clothing that can be fitted to Genesis will act in this way, which gives me lots of things I can do with TyRex. At any rate, I have to say this product is working really well. This is quite encouraging, because it will make Genesis of even better use in my ISA and IGA starship crews. I want to have as wide a range of alien species as possible to crew the ships, and thus far, Genesis has the widest range of shapes and textures available.

Didn't know about TyRex Agent... Thanks for adding him to my wishlist... :P  I love that he's for the original Genesis.. and RawArt is one of my favorite Daz PAs.

EDIT... Got'em... added him to my cart and he was only a dollar!!!  Who could say no to a dollar????  lol
