Well all I have to say is... FINALLY.... lol.  Finally a pro bundle that I love!  I love EVERYTHING in this bundle.  With my 40% discount and my $6.00 Plus coupon I was able to get the bundle for $31.54!  I spent about $90.00 but I had just purchased a gift certificate at 20% off so I couldn't pass up the deal.  There ARE bargains and I was willing to put forth the effort.  Not sure if it will be cheaper tomorrow but I don't care.  I feel like I got a great deal.

Both characters loaded super fast with their fur and only took about 5minutes to render.  Here is Niketa 9 and her daughter sharing a hug...  ENJOY!

I've been busy downloading prize choices, as I took 4th place in the July contest at FRM. No I did not win 1st place, but I was not really competing to win anything. I was really there to have fun with artists who are into the same genre I'm into. It was lot's of fun, as some of the art there sparked a couple of interesting conversations in the comments part of the Gallery. The image I was hoping would get 1st place actually got it. Truth be told, I thought there was several images that were better that any of my 5 entries. Here is the one that got me 4th place.



Arrival at Kolnath System


S'Fvaax & Trina, left to keep watch over the Zephyr, soon learned that the Captain and other crew were taken by the Kolnathi Slave Traders. So they decided to go to Kolnath and try to get them back. The Vanguard class ship dropped out of Hyperspace near the Kolnathi habitable Moon. Their Cargo pod is still full of ED Crystals, which can be used in a powerful hand weapon. They plan to employ the crystals to take the fight to the Slavers.

Nice one, Sanbie. What is the effect used in this one? How did you make the hair and skin look that way?

I have only just seen this...I don't know how I missed it as I read everything! lol


It was called line design in my paintshop pro instant effects...but then I had to fiddle around a fair bit to get it like that...

Last play for a while...I am off to watch TV and crochet...
made the ball of light out of a primitive and added a light to it...then added colour...but when I put it in the lights from the thingy...you can't see that it's a blue ball anymore...
Edited to add image of blue ball...if you want to use then it's a png.

Thank you, Sanbie for the reply to my earlier question. I don't have Paintshop Pro, and cannot afford to buy it, so using that type of feature will need to be from something I do have, if I have something that can do that. It is a nice and interesting effect.


On your latest image, I love that you created the effect yourself, using what you have available. Shows that you have plenty of imagination, and you are able to figure out unusual ways to use your available resources. Well done, indeed!

WOW...go to bed... wake up... and WHAM!!!  Artworks galore.  Well done Agent (congratzi again on your win... can't wait to see what you bought/won) and Sanbie... Great special effects ya got goin' there.  ;)  I will have to see what I can come up with.  Oh... btw... there's special 'effect' on my Niketa and daughter... I put fuzzy around them with postwork in my PSP7.  ;)
