June Show Off Thread 2023 - Dad

My 'dad/father' was abusive and a horrible person that I'm glad I didn't have in my life!  That is not the reason for my lack of dad renders though... Mostly I've been lazy... Other things are being more important than rendering right now.  I AM fortunate to have a father-in-law that I CAN call Dad... He's a quiet soul but I love him dearly.  I didn't miss having a man in my life cause my grandfather, though strict, was there when we needed him and grandma. 

Please do not think it's the theme that is keeping ME from posting Agent... I am loosing my motivation to do renders in general... This forum is very quiet... Even my challenges are quiet.  Maybe it's because it's summer or we are all just getting old?  I have lost a few friends the past month.

Thanks Llola. This one is great. I think it should be the winning Dad image, but that's not for me to decide. He looks  like a man I once knew, and yes he was a friend's Dad.
