Soooooooo.......everyone meet my new muse Kilona!!!!

Arnold

Do you know Alita:battle angel?
what do you think of my version?
the original is in the left bottom corner

jammixx

Your version of Alita is very well done, Arnold.  If someone was looking at me like that, I would be exit stage right.  Good environment.
Welcome Kilona!  I know what you mean about getting a new character.  I only have a few, but they can be morphed pretty well.  My characters show up often, and I'm hoping to see Kilona in a few of yours.

Alita Battle Angel is among my favorite Sci-Fi movies.
Your version would be a nice one for the next installment in the franchise.
Very well done, Arnold.

I just wanted to show off the newest freebie I got from Daz 3D Bi-Weekly!!
I got that one also, Saphirewild. I also grabbed all of the other freebies offered that I did not already have, 11 packs in all.
I like what you have done with this one. I have not done a pic with it yet, but will do so in the next coupe of days. Well done!

This is my first image making use of one of the current freebies at DAZ.

Retro Future  Apt. Towers

In the mid to late 1950's, corporations were looking to cater to the demands of youth that had been influenced by science fiction. They had seen a few motion pictures in which the technology seemed very advanced. The auto industry and architecture industry were two of the top industries that wanted to grab their piece of the futurist market. Automobiles were built to appear as though they were from a distant future, and buildings were built in the same manner. One such corporation which built vehicles had designed new vehicles with advanced tech built-in, though that tech was also being added to vehicles made by their competitors as well. Even so, that corporation had a skyscraper built as their main headquarters, which had a futuristic look no other building of the time had. This Corporation was Chrysler, and the Chrysler Building has become one of the most artistically futuristic looking buildings ever built. It is indeed a highly recognizable building for its futuristic look, and an Icon of New York City.

This is what inspired me to do this image, but in this image are items we have never seen in real life, including the buildings and the vehicles shown. The buildings are the Technopolis (Petipet and DAZ Originals) x 2 which are like an experimental apartment complex, having several advanced technological components. On the Hover Pad of the nearer tower is a PocketStar (made by Kibarreto) with the canopy up, In the driveway of the same tower is a retro art deco style bus called Bus Rex (also Petipet and DAZ Originals). A man stands near it's open entry door (Genesis Basic Male). This bus appears to have been built on the Chrysler Futuristic Art Deco style, with what appears to be future technology, that includes better comfort, as well as better operating systems, although practically all of that was available in the vehicles built by the top manufacturers of the 1950's. Now of course the Pocket Star is actually the most advanced vehicle in this scene, but with the look all over the futuristic map, I had to fit it in along with the other designs. I was going to have a large helicopter on the hover pad, but it was too big. The Sky Dome is from the Dystopia City Blocks Collection (Ajax, Billy Home, and Moebius87). Unfortunately, the Dystopia City Blocks are no longer available at DAZ 3D. I am seeking a way to get the few packs I still do not have. The cliffs in the background are from Canyon Terrain (SoulessEmpathy and DAZ Originals) A Grass Shader system was used to add grass to it. It does not look very real here, but it will do. Lights and Camera were created in DAZ Studio 4.10.

Everything in this scene was acquired at DAZ 3D as freebies throughout the last decade +. I got the Bus Rex in the latest Freebies list, which is up now, (April 23, 2023). This one has many awesome features I did not know about before grabbing it just yesterday. It even has posable dial needles. The interior is quite interesting; though I plan to make other interiors for this one. It shall likely be of a fair amount of use to me, because of its Art Deco look, which is a favorite style to me. It also comes with driver poses for M4 and Genesis. The M4 Driver pose can easily be adapted to V4 and other Millennium 4 figures. As for the Genesis pose, I've had success with adapting Genesis poses to Genesis 2 Males and Females, with just minor adjustments. There's no reason to think this is not possible with the Genesis Driver pose.

I hope you are doing better by now, Agent.   These days many grocery stores and drug stores will deliver to your home, but I don't know where you live. Also, arnica gel is great for inflammation and relieves pain to some extent.
I need to look into this arnica gel thing. If you have any links to good info, it will be appreciated.
I plan to get some calamine lotion, as it is something that has been a recommendation in several of the articles my research has led me to. Another thing I need to do to help reduce the swelling is find some way to use hot compresses. As the heated water opens the pores, the compress is supposed to draw out the poisons that are lingering in them. At least that is the way I understand the description. Thing is, the leg was so sensitive to touch, just a casual brush made it burn.
I have sprained my knee on the inner part of the joint multiple times since this began, because the pain in the leg made me lose my balance a lot, making me twist the leg unnaturally. I try not to make the same mistakes more than once, but the leg has a mind of its own, it seems. If I could have used an Ace Bandage to compress the knee and control its movement, I would have, but the touch problem made that an impossibility. Now a light bump on the knee doubles me over, which then adds to the pain already there.
I know all of this sounds bad, but today is better than I have had in a while. The inflammation is slowly receding, as I am bathing the leg up to 4 times each day. I did a stupid thing two days ago, accompanying my sister in her grocery shopping. I should not have been on my feet that long. She bought me a bottle of aspirin, and I have implemented a schedule for taking it. It helps with the pain, swelling, and somewhat the inflammation by reducing the fever within it. At this time my left calf is over twice the size of my right calf, but at least now I can touch it without it burning. I am doing everything my research has told me to do, and it is working, though a lot slower than I would like.
Apologies for the somewhat negative report.

The Galaxy Spin

Checkout this tiny girl wielding a scythe as big as she is, and definitely heavier than her. How does she do it? Would it not control her instead? Perhaps so. But maybe that is her secret. As she begins to fight, she lets the scythe take over and spin her where it wills. And what would she call this move?

I decided to make my first image using the outfit shown and the scythe an extreme pose for my character. I used G2F Giselle 6 with the Mei Lin 6 textures. I resurfaced the outfit and the scythe using a few shader sets. Her hair is the Toulouse Hair for G2F, black textures. Had to use adjustment morphs for the tunic to prevent poke through. My backdrop was made in Flame Painter and PD Howler 12. The stars and lens flare effect were done in PD Howler 12. I wanted the gleam on the scythe to have the nova bloom and a lens flare.
