Had to go for a walk to the local store to get a couple of grocery items. I told my brother that it would likely cause my leg a lot of pain, and I was right. Now I need some kind of pain killer and something to reduce the swelling in my leg. Still had to go, as he is not in as good a shape as I am, and it would hurt him worse than me. At least that's the official story, anyways. Thing is he did not want to go, so it was all me for that task. My leg is now in extreme pain, as it caused what swelling I had already got to subside to come back with a vengeance! Now I have no pain meds of any type, and my leg cannot find a least painful position. If I had some aspirin, it would help with the pain and the swelling. Maybe it would not stop the pain, but I know it would dull the pain good enough to let me do other tasks needed around our home. Truth be told, I likely overdid it before my brother got home, but it was after he arrived that I had to take that walk, even though he knew what kind of pain I was already in. My personal funds are all gone for this month, so I cannot buy what I need. Even if the pain med is Tylenol or Aleve, it would at least reduce my pain. Of course the pain is a symptom of how swollen the leg is, so I would definitely prefer aspirin. Dr. Gabriel had told me the same thing other doctors had, that aspirin is a good swelling reducer. The swelling is directly linked to the pain making the skin way too tight. I try to find a comfortable position that I can at least stand, but I'm feeling pain in places I did not know I had. So I will need to ask around the neighbors to see if anybody has some. At this point, I'd settle for any over the counter pain med.My brother does not know it yet, but he is cooking tonight. I can take no more than I already am.

I hope you are doing better by now, Agent.   These days many grocery stores and drug stores will deliver to your home, but I don't know where you live. Also, arnica gel is great for inflammation and relieves pain to some extent.

My muse Alice called out to me and asked me to let her play her sax and show off her new outfit I bought during the Easter specials @ Daz 3D stores!!

I love this image Saphirewild! Saxophone is a favorite instrument for me, because it has it's own unmistakable and unique sound. She looks like she is feeling the music! As a performer of music and song myself I can recognize things like that. Are you a musician?

I agree with Agent Saphirewild...this is awesome...the pose is superb...it really looks like she is totally into the music she is playing...Well done!

Agent...the Sax and the flute are my two favourite pieces...

Agent0013

I have several favorite instruments, SAX and Flute being among them. another favorite is guitar. I had an acoustic electric that was the shallow bodied style with F holes ( The curvy shaped holes that look like an F) It was a Silvertone, with three pickups and a whammy bar (the lever that you see guitarist using to make the strings stretch).  I also had a Melodica that my pop prought back from overseas when he was in the US Navy. That's a small wind instrument that has piano style keys you use to change the pitch. I also had I can't say how many Harmonicas. I was quite good on one, performing with it in our band. My last is an electric Bass Guitar, which my brother said sounded like a bass version of Eric Clapton's Slow Hand Guitar.  At the time we were performing for parties, and when not doing that, we would hang out and have a good jam session. Music is a big part of who I and my brother are.

I have several instruments.  Stringed, keys, percussion, wind.  Sonic Percussion (made by Latin Percussion) bongos, Gemeinhardt Solid Silver Flute (purchased used in 1971 or 72), Roland Juno 60 synthesizer (purchased new in 1982), Fender Rhodes 88 piano (pre-CBS Fender) (bought used around 1980).  Guitars: Gibson SG Custom (1965 to 1969 - Gibson's records aren't more accurate than that with the serial number, it was probably a 1969, but I'm not sure...bought it used), G&L Legacy Special electric guitar(strat shaped with blade pickups - bought new in 1996 or so), Guild F48 acoustic guitar (large F body - bought new at Wurlitzer's in Boston in late 70s), Royal Artist Bruno bass (violin style body - my first bass quitar, got it in 1969, mom bought it from a friend of mine as a Christmas gift, he bought a Fender Jazz bass for himself), Music Man Sabre bass guitar (made before Ernie Ball bought Music Man, purchased new in the late 70s).   G&L was Leo Fender's last company.  Stands for George and Leo, George being his long time partner in the business.  I have a Mesa Boogie Rocket 44 guitar amp, bought new in the late 90s.  Carlos Santana did testing for Mesa when they were desinging their new amps.  He played it and said, "This amp boogies!"  Thus, the name.  I have a Senhieser microphone, pistol grip type...forget the model.  I've seen it in videos back in the 80s on MTV with several bands, they seem to have had a common flaw...every one I saw had duct tape around the mount, as did mine, because they seem to break easily at that point.  Also have two Beyer Dynamic M500 mics.  I also saw many of those in use in videos.  That and their M300 (I think) were in great demand.  The M300 had a flattened wind screen, the M500 did not.  Beautiful sound.  they have a ribbon element rather than a cardiod.  Sensitive, and so pure and airy sound, very accurate.  Styx used them, and other big name bands.  And I have a Roland Space Echo RE-150.  Yes, I've played all of these...not mastered, though.  Didn't have good luck with bass amps.  Bought a Standel Studio bass amp new.  Beautiful sound.  Loved it.  When jamming one day, it just died.  took it to the place where I bought it.  He said he couldn't do anything about it.  The company went out of business, and the circuit board was embedded in epoxy.  They were afraid of competitors stealing their designs.  Then next one I bought was a Peavey Mark III bass amp.  Great sound!  EQ, dual channel with a footswitch that let you go from one to the other, or mix them both.  You could set up one channel with a deep, smooth, bass, and the other with a a more trebly sound, switch between them, or mix them.  It has an 18" folded horn cabinet.  Third band I was in with it, suddenly started popping the fuse.  Someone had one, put it in, and it blew almost right away.  By that time, I didn't have the money to get it repaired.  Now, it's so old, I don't think they'd be able to get the parts needed.  I also have a set of double strung Latin Percussion Chimes.  I even have one of those little drum things used in The Karate Kid movie when on Okinawa.  The one on a handle and they spin it back and forth and the beaters on strings hit the skins on both sides, alternating.  Picked it up when on vacation one year.  I also have a belt clip Marshall amp, runs on a 9V battery.  Has a regular input jack.  Sounds pretty cool.

Haven't played much lately.  Trying to get back to it, but it's not easy, with some problems in my hands.  With some time and determination, I'll get back.

Now to my render...no special effects except for it being a L'Homme render and I did the face myself by using the new face and body adjustments that come on the figure...cursed a lot as they take a bit of getting used to lol.
