Not trying to get so serious. Just giving an account of my experience and how I use my cameras. Truth be told, sometimes I want the glowing eyes! :peep:

Oh Simon... WHERE on earth did kitty find a goldfish in a long hallway?  I thought it was a mouse!  lol.

All my pictures of my cats have red glowing eyes when the flash goes off... Kinda hard NOT to get glowing eyes.  It has to do with the shape of their eyes I think... lol
No kitteh red-eye as it's a CCTV, so no flash! Animal eyes 'glowing' when having flash phorography done is pretty much down to a chemical constituent of their retinas, which aids in their night visiion, IIRC.

OK... never mind the red eye... It was meant more of a joke than anything else... The discussion has gotten waaaaaaaaaay to serious!  sorry.
Yes, I guessed that it was more the 'evil kitteh' glowing eyes you meant! :)

okay had a play in poser seeing as Daz is being naughty!

Good morning everyone  :tiptoe:

I wasn't happy at all with the above render...it was a superfly render and took over night to complete and yet it was tiny...SO...I started again and this time made it a Firefly render and I think it turned out okay!

DanaTA

I actually like that one better, too!

I think I will test out Firefly render option all the time first...see what the image is like and if I like it firefly has won!

Having two render engines as part of Poser, Superfly and Firefly, plus a third one called Cycles, which is part of Blender's options as well, is really a good thing, if you ask me. DAZ Studio has two also that are native to it, Iray, and 3Delight, the latter being the faster on, but the former is more realistic. The Iray render engine requires an nVidea Graphics system, and a much more powerful computer to work well; which is something I am unable to afford. That is why I use 3Delight exclusively in DAZ Studio. I am looking at another  that can render DAZ images, the Octane Render Kit, which is offered free at DAZ. I have not found any tutorials for it, though I believe there are some out there. It is in my wish list at DAZ, but the reason I have not gone ahead and grabbed it is because I do not know enough about it yet. I'm not sure if my old computer can handle it.

Yeah the superfly render took all night...the firefly took about 40 minutes...big difference.

So you think the first render is more realistic than the second one Agent?
