Wooooooow! I like Bryce too. But mostly I am using it for abstracts. Totally in awe about your abilities!
I would not know as much as I do about Bryce without the help of a British friend named David Brinnen. His tutorials covered several of Bryce's hidden features, and opened the door to allow me to figure out unique ways to use what he taught me. As he led me to certain hidden features, I soon discovered more concerning those features. I can even make my own Bryce Materials, by using the Deep Texture Editor. It is then very easy to save those materials, and just as easy to save the models I make using the Deep Terrain Editor. I also import models I make in Wings 3D, and will save them with their default textures. If I should decide that a model I imported would look even more fantastic by replacing the textures, The Deep Texture Editor will get the job done.
Bryce was my first 3D Art app, although I was making some 3d Models in MS PowerPoint before then. Those models could not be exported though, so I was looking for something that I could export and import models and textures in. Bryce was the first for that. Then DAZ released a sweet deal of a package; DAZ Studio 4.0, Hexagon, and Bryce 7.1 Pro were offered up for free. I jumped on it. Of course by that time I was already getting pretty good with Bryce, but DAZ Studio had better capabilities in certain areas, namely figures, which can be imported into Bryce via the DAZ Studio/Bryce Bridge, but they lose their ability to be posed in Bryce. You must pose your figure in DAZ Studio before sending it to Bryce. I've not done that but a few times, as the textures for skin and hair don't work well in Bryce. If you keep the figures at a fairly long distance from Bryce's Camera, the texture problem is not so noticeable.

Kathryn

I got the $5.00 off a daz original today from answering a questionnaire and I got this dress and the wings and only ended up paying a few cents less than $4.00 for the pair.  They are for G8F and the dress is called Melantha dForce Dress and the wings are Copperwhirl Wings.  Thank you for looking.  I used the leggings and shoes from another outfit to pair with the dress.

That is lovely Kathryn... I've not figured out yet what to use my $5.00 on.  hummm....

Ah. So the $5.00 store credit for participating in the DAZ Survey has been awarded. Excellent! I was expecting it to be awarded a couple of days later, but early works for me.
Thanks for the "Heads Up!"

Now I need to go find "My Precious!" :sno1:
