I like dial spinning with Genesis and Genesis 2. The most dials I have for a figure are for Genesis; a couple thousand plus. They cover every part of the Genesis figure, allowing me to create unique characters. Unfortunately, my computer cannot handle Genesis 8, 8.1, or 9. I have only a few morphs for Genesis 3. But sticking to Genesis and Genesis 2 is working for me.

As long as it's working for you, it's fine!
Another render, same guy, but I dial called "FACS" slid to 100 % ... I just read about that one at the daz forums. It makes the expressions more realistic, because ... folds on the skin.

Help please. Unfortunately I can't updat DS, still on version 4.12, DAZ Central does not want to install a newer version. Now all the skin on Genesis 9 is white. What can I do to use the character's materials?

Ouch ... 4.12 doesn't know about PBR skins. They were introduced with 4.15.
Why are you trying to update through Daz Central?
Honest question.
Personally, I prefer DIM.

While I cannot use G8 or G9, I do understand that DAZ Studio updates seem to work best through the DIM. I dare not try updating to the latest version, as my computer is not able to handle that either. I understand that G9 is too advanced for my PC, and the latest version of DS is incompatible with computers that are a certain age or older.
Erika, you may want to check to see if your computer is too old for the new DAZ Studio.

Kerya, your hint saved me!  I thought I HAD to use DAZ Central. With DIM it worked.Now I have to explore the new things in version 4.21 and with G9.

That's great to hear!
Personally I don't like Daz Central. Just remember not to install things (products, not the software) with DIM and Daz Central.
