As you know I'm a big fan of Aiko 03 as well.  I haven't used her in a long time though.  I'll have to dust her off and use her again.

I know of a lot of Poser and DAZ Studio users that say Aiko 3 is a favorite figure. I use her quite often myself, because to me she has not lost her relevance among all the figures available. I have three versions of her, and every outfit I have for her, whether they are DAZ products or third party, fit all of the versions of her that I have. With the Gen X and Gen X2, I can actually fit her clothing to Genesis and Genesis 2 Females, with the A3 morphs for those figures. Of course there are some slight anomalies that show up on Genesis' version of A3's clothing, especially her skirts and dresses. This is due to the differences in rigging for the figures involved. I have not yet found the time to try with G2F, but I figure there may be anomalies also.


Thing is, with the way my imagination knows no bounds, I am able to come up with new and unusual ways to use each figure I have, and that includes Aiko 3 most prominently.

The character for A3 is called Jenna and the outfit is Gothic Velvet (it includes the hair).

Llola, I have a few morph and character packs for Aiko 3, both DAZ and 3rd party. Some make her face look much more realistic. If you want to use A3 more often, and don't wish to use her default Anime Toon style face, let me know. I can direct you to some of the best packs of that type.

Taylor - TechVelvet Dress
Taylor is a special morph and character texture pack for Genesis 2 female(s). I have her dressed in the Interview Dress for G2F. To get the look I wanted for the dress, I used a purple velvet shader, and in the displacement channel I loaded a JSPlacement Greebles heightmap. After tweaking the displacement controls to the values I wanted, the scene was ready for the render. Checkout my TechVelvet style. I think it looks awesome.

Well done Kathryn... I do love her face.  I bet she renders quickly too with Iray... One thing I hate about the new characters... even though they look awesome close up... is the render time.  Even with my monster graphics card... Still taking upwards of a few hours to render :(.... also... thanks for the heads up Agent... I'm really not using the older characters much.  I know I tried to make A3 look more realistic a year or so back... but I can't seem to find the render.  Oh well... Moving onward and upward as they say ;)

This is another realistic character for A3 called Mila *I misspelled it as Milo.. sorry (I think she's my favourite) and the outfit is Emo Aiko and the hair is Agent Hair which I love so much.  Enjoy.
