I will be doing my own version of Silver Surfer soon.

From a quick Google search:
[/size]The Silver Surfer is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character also appears in a number of movies, television, and video game adaptations. The character was created by Jack Kirby and first appeared in the comic book Fantastic Four #48, published in 1966.

• [/size]I'm sharing this image to show what he looks like. He was in the second Fantastic 4 movie. Jessica Alba (the actress that portrayed Sue Richards aka Invisible Girl) liked the look of him.

BTW... I filled out a ticket for the forum at Daz being Error Code 502 and got a message back that they know of the problem and have a team on it.  HOW come it only happens on the weekend?  Something strange is going on over there... hummmmmmm

Great glass images, Llola. I love stained glass!
In the time since my comment stating I would do my own version of Silver Surfer:
1. I modelled and UV mapped Silver Surfer's Board.
2. I imported the .obj model into DAZ Studio.
3. I applied the Centennial Silver Shader to the model surface.
4. I loaded a muscular Genesis Male character, and applied the same shader to him.
5. I dressed him in the Genesis Supersuit, and applied the same shader to it.
6. I created a pose, standing him on the Surfboard.
7. I parented the Surfboard to the figure's left toe, then selected the character and rotated him into a dynamic looking angle.
8. I created 3 lights and 1 camera, and loaded the astro-photo of NGC 1300 as a backdrop.
Render.
Here is the results of my efforts:

Silver Surfer Fast Attack


A bit of back story first.
Norin Radd was a scientist on his homeworld, who pleaded with Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds, to spare his world. He made a deal with Galactus. He would seek worlds for Galactus' sustenance if Galactus would spare his homeworld. Galactus agreed, and bestowed Norin Radd with the Power Cosmic, and then he changed Norin Radd's appearance. He gave the new being a board to ride upon, and named him Silver Surfer.


Silver Surfer wanders throughout the cosmos, surfing the Cosmic Waves, in search of life bearing worlds for Galactus to consume. But in his travels he has finally met a woman (Sue Richards of the Fantastic Four) that reminds him of his woman, whom he left behind to save her and their world. So when he attacked, he channeled all that frustration at his plight, bursting forth with hyper speed. But this woman he has met brings back his compassion, though he fights it at first. Soon though, he realizes that he has trodden on the rights of beings he never knew, to bring sustenance to his master.
So now he has turned on his Master, finally realizing what the Devourer of Worlds truly is; and he knows that he, the Silver Surfer, is the only one that can go against Galactus, and have a chance of success.

Oh that's really awesome Agent... I didn't realize Silver Surfer was a bag guy in the beginning.  I'm gonna have to watch that Fantastic 4 movie again.  Seems I've forgotten a lot of it.  :(  Well done image!

Thanks for the linky... I didn't know there was a topic started.  Glad to know it's not just me having these issues... The weekend is coming up fast... I have fingers crossed that the forum gets fixed soon.

My Dragon Doesn't Like Surprises


A Lady Elf lives alone, but for her Dragon companion, who is loyal and protective of her. She often has to stop her dragon from burning visitors to their abode.
If you wish to visit her, please let her know in advance, and provide an exact time that you will be there. Be there at that exact time, or the Dragon won't make your visit easy.

I have had the Art Azrea/Sylph for A3 package for about 10 years, and this is the first time I have used it.
The Shinsekai and Dragon Port Packs were purchased today, and so this is my first image using them also.
