The Big Picture Thread 2022

Welcome to the Big Picture Thread for 2022. Post all of your large sized images here. Please understand that there is a lower pixel size limit that requires the images posted in this thread be at least 2000 pixels wide or tall; in other words, 2,000 or more pixels in at least one direction. There is an upper limit as well, but it won't be as much as it was in previous threads. The new host for our site has imposed some limits we did not have before. the new limit is 3,000 pixels, either wide or tall.
The reason I provide this thread is because large images can show more detail due to the greater amount of pixels. This lets the artist pay closer attention to adding interesting detail to their images. Another option is to make your subject larger than life size, as in a poster sized head and face portrait. This lets you add little nuances to the expressions and characteristics of your creations.
There is no theme for this thread; however, as children can view this thread, please keep your subject matter appropriate for children to view.
To get this one started, I will post the first image.


Ready to Strike (Overexposed)
Plastech Girl 8 was caught in the instance of battle readiness just as a blast in the battle overilluminated the landing bay area. In this exposure one cannot determine the actual color of her outfit, her hair, or her spaceship, which is directly behind her.
Oh, you wish to know what her color is? It's black. Here though, it looks white. Shows what too much light can do.

The 5th Life of Catwoman


Moving among the denizens of the city's dark underworld, this antiheroine prey's upon those that prey upon the innocent. For this, her enemies seek to murder her. When a killer succeeds, life is breathed back into her by the creatures she takes her name from; cats. Each time this happens she takes on more of the traits and features of her namesake animal.
After the 5th time being murdered, and the subsequent breathing of life into her a 5th time, she no longer appears as a pure human woman. Rather she has gained much of the appearance of her animal. She now has many physical aspects of cats, and can do whatever they can.
Now she is going after the person that murdered her for the 5th time. He will regret his attack on her right before he suffers a more permanent death by her hand.
