Using Poser's Shadow Catcher
« on: February 01, 2015, 01:48:54 PM »
Well I would not have believed I could do something like making a Poser Tutorial just a week after beginning to use Poser myself, but the truth is that PFD is such a great site for learning, and all my friends here have actually made this possible.

Sanbie had mentioned to me in the Questions About Poser Thread, that she was amazed that I was using the Shadow Catcher already, and she still did not know how. I was surprised at this, but at the same time it prompted me to make this tutorial. I did screenshots and then brought them into PowerPoint to put it all together. I kept it simple so that even beginners like me could follow it easily.

I'm sure there are more advanced uses for this feature, but this is kept to the basics, so that you can familiarize with it without problems. It is in PDF format for those of you that wish to download it, and in Edited Screenshots if you want to read it here or collect it all as images.

Have fun!

Well if I knew where to look.

Of course I had no idea that this was a competition, ya know! :laugh111: :laugh111:

But seriously, as long as you got someone to show you, I'm happy! I think it was Kerya that taught me in a faster way than my tutorial could. After trying it I kept practicing, and that helped me to learn it really fast.
