Hey, I may be the only "Dummie" in this crowd that did not know how to do this, but I was just so excited when I stumbled onto it that I want to share. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to use a certain brush in Photoshop, but it was just not angled correctly for the purpose I needed it for. Well, I was reading some of the Read-Me's in my brushes folder, and very off handedly, this guy says, "Of course you can always change the angle of the brush in "Options". I had no idea.

Anyway, you just choose your brush, go to options on the top of your work area, go to the bottom of that popup and there is a small circle with four marks and a small arrow. You can either plug in the amount you want to angle or (and this is really neat), you can place the tip of your curser on the little arrow and, while you are still open, run the little arrow around. You can see what it is you are wanting to paint and you can see when it becomes angled like you want.

That's it -- I know this is not earth shaking, but it was a revelation to me.

I use Photoshop Ele8.  So far, I haven't found the options popup you refered to in your text.  Can anyone help?
Thanks.

Thanks for the info.  Any ideas on what to search for in plugins or scripts?
