I do have breathing problems, but not like when I was a smoker. I have mild asthma, which only bothers me if I sleep laying flat. To alleviate that, I sleep in a recliner. It's actually a lot more comfortable than a bed for me.

DAZ 4.23 is out Now!
Go into your Daz Install Manager to see lots of things to download, including new/ revised Starter Packages for G8 and G9.  New settings for rendering different things, new lighting concept (beyond my skill), and comics/ anime work.  Note that you should install the new NVIDIA drivers using the "Studio" version, not the "Gaming" one.  If you don't have the latest Windows driver, make sure you have that as well.   The biggest one I read about is the Interchange Ability that allows the same clothes to be used by both G8 and G9!  Wait a while to verify that since I only read it in one place.  I've always thought G8 has better characters, but G9 is more versatile overall.  (ever notice how G9 characters seem to have the upper lip very close to the nose?)    Go forth and enjoy the experimentation.

    NEW Daz 4.23 
   Here is an image I did using the new drivers and some changed render settings.  The render took about 30 minutes, which is a long time, so I need to adjust something.  The shoulders, chest and neck came out pretty nice.  The face looks like it has makeup, with phony eyes, but I ran out of time for corrections before time to go to bed.  Recommend you enlarge the photo to see the textures.

You know, whenever I go to costume parties at graveyards, there always seems to be one in the background that is a little too real.  There's a certain strangeness, or sense that something could go wrong if I got too close.   I just leave them alone and move towards laughter or the music.  Here is an example:

Although I like how the previous image flows with the pumpkins for that Halloween feel, it doesn't really highlight the ghosty well when seen in a small size.  This one does a better job of showing her off.   Happy Halloween!

At least I escaped the question of just how many parties in graveyards I have attended.   However, there is more to the character to be  revealed.  In Asia, there are more stories about ghosts in folklore, and in modern anime) than in the United States.  In Japan, ghosts are called Yurei.  The one I am generally referring to here is Kazane no Enkon who was murdered by her husband, who cut off her head with a scythe in order run off with a new woman.  She is obsessed with revenge and is sometimes shown biting a blade while searching.   This modern day version of the ghost being shown here is Songakshi, who is encountered in the computer game Black Desert.  She is a ghost who is filled with rage and madness over the woman who took her husband, and must be calmed (or dissipated) to go further in the story.   I wanted to show a big shiny dagger in Songakshi's hand so the viewer could get a feeling for her intent, but this was the smallest I had around. (unfortunately, the shadow makes it look like a full-0n sword).    Note:  The jack-o-lantern grave yard scene is courtesy of Shredder as a freebie.

About the Jack-O-Lantern Graveyard. I was notified about it and went to give it a look see. Nice but I'm trying to get rid a a bunch of unused content already. I do follow Shredder on ShareCG.
