Just in and wandering the halls is locutas!

:welcome2: and do have a look around, hope we get some more texture challenges to quench your interest.

Have a look around and if you have questions then just post them. There is usually somebody around that may be able to help. We love to have fun here and try many things with our art.

Have fun and do tell us a bit about yourself.  :group hug1:

Hello, all.

I experiment with using the wings3d subdivision modeling program and generate textures using Poser and gimp.  I look forward to feedback on my efforts with both meshes and textures.

Greetings locutas.  Some of the people here are really good at textures.  I'm better at lighting and rendering in Daz3D, but looking forward to seeing your artwork.   :welcome:

I use several applications and programs for making models and textures. Do you know about the AutoUV Mapping in Wings3D? I'm thinking you do, judging by your statement concerning Wings3D. Perhaps we can discuss that and other things about Wings3D. I can lead you to sites where you can pick up some awesome texture making programs.
One I think you will enjoy, generates greyscale and color images of greebles and other types in 8K. That's really big and helps to show detail really well. The name of the program is JSPlacement. The great thing is that the 8K size can be reduced to more useful sizes in that is too big for you. For displacement and bump maps, it is quite excellent; especially if you are into Science Fiction.
Cheers!
