:overreactionallert: to all of you. Thanks for the donations for our March server fees. It is time to pounce on you for April fees. If possible please donate whatever you can.

I hope that sounds right but I am not really alert and should not be doing anything.

Our kitty Mocha has been sick with a cold for about 4 days. I called the vet after hours cause to me it was an emergency...she had not eaten, slept most of the day, had to be fed liquids. Tried giving her those little squishy tubes and she devoured them but like I said last night was bad.

She was semi good during the day, eyes focused and tried playing, she is one of our "mean girl" kitties, a mottled orange black white kitty calico variety...LOL She was fine sort of, still slept a lot but  still I called the vet due to her way of breathing. He listened sort of, then in the middle of my explaining how she was breathing [ mind you they close at 5pm and I called around 7 so it was not late at night].

He interrupts me with well I think you need to wait and call in mornig and make an appointment. I could not get a word in edgewise to tell him I thought it was emergency enough to call at that hour but I could not get the words in between his. Then he hung up and I let loose have a tantrum stating to daughters that why is he on call if he doesn't wish to do anything.

Having no car is a real PITA. Anyway we woke up this morning for Dawn to get ready for work and we found her -- dead-- I tried everything since she was pliable...but it was too late.

She was one of the last rescues and bottle fed since then...she was going to be 3 years old.

I have always had ritters, used to drive my mom batty cause just about any creature would find their way here...LOL She vehemently said no cats and would allow then but it wasn't until we got Snoball and Peanut that her demeanor changed.

Snoball belong to a deaf/mute couple that moved into their chidrens house and the cat would not stay anymore, she was always coming back to her home. One day an orange cat decided my mom's foot looked tasty and attacked her. Out of nowhere came Snowball and made him run. My mom thought they had rabies but I told herno, she was frothy cause she was mad and was waiting to see what she would do for fighting with him.

My mom was astonished that she got defended by a cat that she did not even raise. She called her then sat down and held her, that was the first cat to ever be allowed inside.

Peanut was a kitten that was the runt of the litter and got tangled with two wolf dogs the vet gave us. They did her bad and she didn't make it and my mom cried for days, that little cat would climb up her leg, drape herself around her shoulders and she said the cat was hers...LOL Never ever saw my mom that way with anything but her dogs she raised.
